A Bit About Me
Successful counseling depends upon the "fit" between therapist and client. Because of that, I'd like to tell you a bit more about myself so you can better decide if I'm YOUR therapist.
• I'm a mom, world traveler, yogi, reader, and movie/theater-lover.
• I'm an artist and the author of several dozen books.
• My little sister's murder many years ago, drives my work with those in trauma.
• I love to laugh and believe that laughter has a place in therapy.
• I've walked three parts of the Camino de Santiago in Europe. Longest distance? 465 miles!
• I am a trained and certified End-of-Life Midwife (death doula), working with the dying and their loved ones.
• I have a very large, very strange cat named Kenosha.
• I am a volunteer with the American Red Cross as part of the Disaster Relief division
